Palestinian State & God's Protective Hand on America

You forgot to add an answer to question 1:

"The creation of a Palestinian state would please God."

What is it about the creation of a Palestinian state that would cause God to remove His "protective hand on America"?

Does this mean that the sin that our nation is already bathed in is not sufficient to warrant judgement?

Are we so arrogant to think that we can continue in our national sins but be protected as long as we side with Israel?

IMO, the Palestinians already have a homeland. It is called Jordan.

Yes. You did not say that and I doubt you intended it that way. It was simply a sarcastic response to your apparently sarcastic response regarding the "far-fetched" idea that God might actually be pleased with the creation of a Palestinian state. I can scarcely conceive that someone would think that God would be opposed to a people group having a homeland of their own.

Yep. Of course I have to assume that John 3:16 includes all the world. I realize that Calvinists believe "whosoever" is in reality only a selected number.

So I guess the Israeli government has the right to remove or kill any Palestinians that get in their way?

Not cursing Israel here... not even the political state of Israel. (Of course, I also believe that the Bible teaches that the church is Israel.) Furthermore, Israeli leaders have said the same sort of thing about Palestinians.

Hmm... Those who think that it is just and fair for the Palestinians to have a homeland do not necessarily endorse or embrace Arafat or support terrorism. Furthermore your comparison to Nazism is revolting and inaccurate.

No "peace at any price" attitude here. Furthermore, I suspect that most Palestinians are not terrorists. Many of the leaders are terrorists and enjoy some measure of support because they resist the aggression of the Israeli government. No one's hands are clean in this mess.

Since Palestinians are not from this part of the world, that would be a little silly -- but that's the right idea. (NOTE: Palestinians did not destroy the World Trade Center)

Didn't intend to do that... But at the same time, I find it very distasteful that the United States almost blindly supports political Israel (who is not biblical Israel) at the expense of human rights and doing the right thing for Arabic peoples.

Baptisbeliever it would behoove you to study the modern history of Israel, and to debunk the myth of the Palestinian homeland. These are displaced Arabs, who have usurped the rightful inheritance of the Jews.

Dr. Bob is so right on the money when he connotes the anti-Israeli prejudice which is the modern anti-semitism which infects the replacement theorists. It was England which set-aside the Balfour Declaration of a Jewish homeland, with the inception and enforcement of the horrendous White Paper, which stopped Jewish immigration to Israel, just as the ovens were being fired-up. Anglo western prejudice was directly culpable in the deaths of thousands of Jews at the hands of the Nazis.

It was the appeasement of Arabs which enabled much of the Holocaust, and today it is the appeasement of arabs which is forcing Israel to house rabid wolves within their borders.
