Any critical talk of Israel usually gets the barnyard riled up.

You can't say they don't know how to throw a good party. This all.they have to do as I doubt they have few creature comforts like us Westerners! Let them have there moment, after all, we have a supreme leader who loves to golf immediately following a tense moment

The language of the passage has Jesus saying that the one who delivered Him to Pilate has the "greater sin", therefore Rome (represented by it's law enforcer - Pilate) has the implied "lesser sin".

Granted this is unusual language for the bible but nonetheless there it is, presented as a shared sin and responsibility.

I will cede that Israel carried the heavier load but Rome as well who were ear and eyewitnesses to His ministry (Mark 15:39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God), saw the miracles, the lepers healed, the blind see, the dead rise, and heard His claims yet crucified Him nonetheless.

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
14 But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you,
15 and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. Acts 3

....and the recompense for that awful deed was horrendous.

Do you believe that 2,000 years later, all Jews are still responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus?

So do you believe that the Jews themselves cursed their children and that meant all their offspring for eternity so that 2,000 years later all Jews are responsible for what a few Jews did once?

I am merely seeking to understand exactly what you are saying so I infer from you repetitious answer that, yes, you believe that because a few Jews in Jerusalem had a hand in the crucifixion of Jesus that all Jews everywhere even 2,000 years later are still responsible for that deed.

For some people Jews are responsible for all the ills in the world and need to be run into the sea.

Well you infer wrongly about me, but join the crowd. I assume that you readily go along with the 'herd mentality'.

I am asking you for clarification of Post # 21, which so far you have refused to give. I am merely trying to clarify what you believe.

    I'll rephrase it:

Have the Jews on the whole lived the curses of Lev 26 & Dt 28 down through the last two millennia?

There is no Salvation in Judaism so what you are saying is pointless. The Jews, too, are now under a New Covenant, which they have mostly rejected, so that the Jews are going to hell unless they become Christians. The Hebrew Scripture will be fulfilled in that the Jews who have rejected their Christ will go to hell.

....and your judgment of the Jews overall is much more harsh than mine.

So do you think that there is Salvation in today's Judaism? All non-Christians are going to hell--do you call that harsh? I didn't say or judge anything, KY, but I referenced Christian teaching that only Christians go to Heaven.

As I understand you, KY, you are saying that Jews are cursed in this world today by Hebrew Scripture, but I am saying that the punishment is not today but after death.

There's no mention of 'hell' in the judgments of Lev 26 & Dt 28, the consequences are temporal, not eternal. I've no doubt many of His redeemed have lived those curses while here on earth yet spend eternity in glory with the Saints.

Well, you have departed from Scripture and veered into Universalism.
