Please stay on the topic and stop blowing smoke and attempting to insult people. Can you do that?

No you were off topic as you added nothing to the subject under discussion.

From you and several others, you are right. I consider the source and realize there is nothing there, so you are right I am not insulted. But I bet you keep trying. :tongue3:

Actually I added a lot by simply pointing out:
Tragically you are wedded to the Marxism of Obama. Don't know how you square the embrace of an atheist philosophy with following Jesus Christ?

You made this appear as if it was my statement ... and it isn't. Seems a bit dishonest on your part as that was not my statement.

And another attempt at insult. Failed again.
My trust is in Jesus ... how 'bout you. Do you really believe him when he said Blessed are the peacemakers?

Do you really believe him when he says "Feed my sheep."

Do you have any understanding of the judgment as written in Matthew?

    Have you read Marx?

I have ... Marx was silly and those who call themselves Communists today do not follow his political philosophy.

I doubt you really know what Communism political theory really says. But you like to call those who do not necessarily agree with you Communist.

Have a blessed day. Read the Gospels and learn from Christ.

Just to set the record straight crabtownboy!
That is either a deliberate falsehood or you cannot understand what “quote” means!

I always believe the Bible. Jesus Christ was not talking about a Marxist government but to the Church! How do you trust in atheistic Marxism and Jesus Christ at the same time?

I always believe the Bible. He was not talking about a Marxist government but to the Church! How could an atheist "feed HIS sheep"?

    Probably better than you!

No! Why would I waste time reading the rantings of an atheist. I have seen Marxism in action and see it in Obama’s policies today.

Then if Marx was silly and communists do not follow his policies how did you decide which to follow?

The leftists in this country have always been incensed that President Reagan brought down their god, the Soviet Union, and are determined to recreate it here, aided by people like you.

I would suggest that you follow your advice: “Read the Gospels and learn from Christ.” You might also read the rest of Scripture and learn from them.

All this "Death panel" stuff is just a Republican distortion of the proposal. Actually, if you take this perspective we already have "death panels." Insurance companies dictate treatment today rather than following doctor's expensive recommendations. Does anybody deny this? if so, you don't have much experience with health insurance.

Obama's proposed $500 billion dollar cut in Medicare is the equivalent of a death panel, regardless of the wording of the bill. Care will be rationed. Particularly hurt financially will be the cardiologists and oncologists, the doctors that old people need most.

Are you capable of critical thinking? Her "death panel" statement was about rationing, not end of life counseling. :BangHead:

Will you find me in your policy where your insurer dictates the care you will be given?

A one-night stay in the hospital for me last year* was upwards of $20K. Insurance negotiated the bill down to $13K and paid $10K. I'm still paying on the balance. (Would have it paid off if not for the $400/mo. premium.)

How did my insurance co. ration my care?

    *heart

    This is reality.

The bill will ration medical care which itself constitutes a death panel cutting Medicare by $500 billion over the next 10 years. That will require that some bureaucrat approve or disapprove a procedure essential to preserve life. The biggest cuts are for cardiologists and oncologists, the doctors most needed by the elderly. These doctors are already underpaid.

Medical care is already rationed by the insurance companies. The insurance 'death panels' determine who will receive care and perhaps live and who will not receive care and will die.

Doctors would not be underpaid if they did not have to spend $100,000+ for liability insurance.

Then why won't your idol, Obama, support tort reform?

Why do you go out of your way to sling insults. Why not just say, "Why won't Obama support tort reform?"

Also, do you have evidence that he won't? Not saying you are wrong...I just haven't heard.

No problem. I believe it is an insult to my Savior, Jesus Christ, for someone who claims to be a true believer to support without question one, Obama, who is a rabid supporter of the slaughter of unborn or just born children.

Governor Dean, former chair of the demo nat com, said that democrats were against tort reform because they were afraid of the trial lawyers. I have not heard Obama refute that or request the dems in the House and Senate to include tort reform in the bills they have cobbled up.

Your main problem is that you equate the Democratic-liberal-socialist agenda with kindess and compassion, and nothing could be further from the truth. The second problem you have is creating a false gap between the Republican-liberal agenda, when in fact, during this last Republican administration, record spending went into Medicare and Medicaid.

Show me where in the Constitution the US Government has any power to regulate or run the medical industry. If any government entity has the power, it would be at the state level. You seem to forget power flows from the people to the government, not vice versa. You need to read the Constitution and reset your perspective.
