I am not sure why people would want to bash Ambulance officers trying to do their work helping people that are injured?

    PARAMEDIC ATTACKS RISE

SOME 258 ambulance staff were assaulted in Scotland last year - more than double the number for 2004, figures reveal.

There were five assaults with intent to kill with a firearm or knife, 130 common assaults and 20 incidents with staff being threatened with a knife or bottle.

Provocation accounted for the rest. The figures, which compare to just 97 in 2004, come despite the new Emergency Workers Act protecting emergency staff.

But the Ambulance Service said the rise was "misleading" and the Executive insisted it was due to crimes being better reported.

That is odd - unless they think they can get drugs or something.

NY had a rash of attacks on firemen a few years ago. Stupid punks.
