If you refer to the fact that religion cannot be pushed in public schools on in government, that isn't being "pushed out". It is merely upholding the religious neutrality of the government that belongs to ALL Americans and respecting the rights of your neighbors.

grieving families who believe what their children did was their duty

How does belief factor in? The parents of Hitler's troops were proud of their kids. So were Japanese parents in 1943.

Wrong. It is only in recent years Christianity is being pushed out of schools. The Bibel used to be the main text for learning in the schools across the country.

Do you want to live in a free country or a Christian country. A good example of a theistic country is Iran. Is that what you want in the United States?

A true Christian nation would naturally be "free" .

An Islamic nation that worships a murderous god can never be "free".

Obviously a "theist" nation and a Christian nation are not necessarily the same. It's... interesting... that you believe they are.

I apologize, but I humbly disagree, and have to side with BaptistBeliever.

The biggest problem with any religion, are the humans involved.

Look at your biblical history: Every time a form of government was set up, the humans messed it up and added to what God intended.

Look at the U.S. government now: How many of the elected officials claim to be Christians, or at least believe in Jesus? Now, how many of them actually act like it?

Why, President Bush once said that the Jews, the Christians, and the Muslims all worship the same god. Doesn't he claim to be a Christian?

It might start out as a Christian nation; but then those pesky humans would get involved....

    Nothing to apologize for.

Your view is warped, but it's yours, so stick to it if you really believe a Christian nation would be no better than an islamic one.

Doesn't say much for your beliefs concerning the fruits of your faith.

I certainly hope this suit fails. War politics aside, free speech is just that.
