"So I suppose you would prefer that they were starving and wearing rags and not being treated for their illnesses? And there I was thinking this was a Christian discussion board! Silly me!"----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, now we see. The weakness of you argument and you want to hide it with silly arguments, and I don't have the time to proof read my post so you will just have to deal with it, since you can't deal with our counter arguments.

"And I suspect you are a monocultural neo-imperialist who can't be bothered to even leave his country and visit the place to find the facts."-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me know when you are willing to subsidize my flight over there and I'll meet you at the French end of the chunnel.

"Actually, try Britain, where the overwhelming majority of Muslims are law-abiding citizens who are well-integrated"------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You mean that little Island where they blew up the subway recently. Or where they blew up a jetliner over Irland a few years ago.

One of France's leading TV news executives has admitted censoring his coverage of the riots in the country for fear of encouraging support for far-right politicians.
Jean-Claude Dassier, the director general of the rolling news service TCI, said the prominence given to the rioters on international news networks had been "excessive" and could even be fanning the flames of the violence....

..."Politics in France is heading to the right and I don't want rightwing politicians back in second, or even first place because we showed burning cars on television," Mr Dassier told an audience of broadcasters at the News Xchange conference in Amsterdam today....

....French broadcasters have faced criticism for their lack of coverage of the country's worst civil unrest in decades. Public television station France 3 has stopped broadcasting the numbers of torched cars while other TV stations are considering following suit.

"Do we send teams of journalists because cars are burning, or are the cars burning because we sent teams of journalists?" asked Patrick Lecocq, editor-in-chief of France 2....

Sacrifice your country, 'cuz it's better than letting the conservatives have it ?

Do the French love their country enough to fight for it ? The answer appears to be a resounding "non".....

Just what I figured. This is the mass psycohsis that keep some multiculturist in the dark. Just like when they censored the pics of the world trade center from the news.

Oh for goodness sake! "Liberal, communist/socialist media"?! Are you channelling Joe McCarthy or something?

The 7/7 London bombers were British citizens. They were also Muslims. Both these facts are well-known - I'm suprised you had to ask.

Bunyon, I might as well say that Christians in the US go round fire-bombing abortion clinics and shooting doctors, and holing up in the Montana mountains, and that therefore all US Christians are would-be terrorists. Now you and I both know that that isn't true and that only a pifflingly-small minority of Americans who call themselves Christians are of that volition. Why won't you admit that the same applies to Muslims in the UK and France?

A (more) constitutionally limited state would be okay with me. Something more inline with what I thought we were working towards in the 1980's before conservtives were Neo Conned and scared into fighting wars for the globalist's benefit.

Holding public servants including judges accountable to the same zero tolerance policies they pass on to us would be a good start. [IMG]

    </font>
It is criminal murderers who go around murdering abortionists, not people who can't get taxicabs. As for living in Montana, it would be quite nice but cold in the winter. As for the European terrorists who happen to be Muslims, getting them a taxicab would not solve the problem because they belong to a religion that teaches in their own "holy" writings that people who don't belong to that God-forsaken religion (and who might be able to get a taxicab) have to convert or die.

That is true, the number of Americans who have fire-bombed abortion clinics is pifflingly small. Could probably count them on one hand (and most of them have turned out to be mentally ill). One reason for that is that Christian preachers are not telling people that it's their right, no, their DUTY to kill abortionists. Many imams ARE telling their followers that it is the will of Allah that the infidels should die.

My understanding is that the bombers in England had quit work, were collecting generous benefits courtesy of John Bull, and spent all their time plotting. Probably most Muslims in the UK do behave themselves, but are you willing to bring in about a million more, since they're such good citizens?

    </font>
It wasn't a serious question but a rhetorical one and you answered it yourself (the question pertaining about the London bombings). Why can't you open your blind eyes and see the danger of Islam?! The evidence is overwhelming. What have Muslims given the world?.....absolutely nothing, they are a very depraved group of people. They are not inivative but are a parasite that invade any place with any type of prosperity. Christians and Jews have generally built this civilization. Look at the superiority of Europe and the U.S. (that is not mere coincidence). But now look at the U.S. and Europe at this day and age....why the change?....because of the shift away from Christianity and supporting God's chosen people Israel but towards other idols and false gods (humanism, athiesm, evolution, islam, and other false religions)which hate Christianity and the Jewish race. Isn't it amazing that Satan and all these false teachings share the same common denominator of hatred?! I don't believe it's coincidence but Satan working hard in seeking whom he may devour.

That was funny, glad to see you are keeping your sense of humor, Matt.

I am turely sad you wont fly me over there, I would have loved to have taken the tour with you as my guide.

You know they got a point about the media. That head exec. stated he was censoring the news to help his political view point. He hates censorship until it is him that does it. And did you notice he said this to an audience of other media exec.. Seem like they were like minded.

As fare as algebra. We did not say they had there moment, and I don't think the poster was talking about ancient histroy.

Nightshift answered this one for me. In short, it is not charateristic of christians to act that way. But the stuff in the islamic world is so wide spred, I am afraid you can say it is charcteristic of their religion. Even with the western media practising the kind of censorship they do, we still get a clear picture of a generalized beligerence in the muslim world.

About the british subway bombing. They were muslim yes. That is a point. And I guess they were non-assmilated natrulized or first generation muslims, yes? That is the other point.

The Amman bombings were not targeted at a religion but towards "Western Civilization". Did you notice the beheadings of the four girls in Indonesia, (they went to a Christian school)....Islam strikes again, go ahead and try to justify that....you can't!

That was a pretty pathetic attempt at a joke.

Continue to watch CNN and getting your news at moveon.org

See I have heared about the bombing in burmingham because it killed little girls all my life, but I did not see the story you are talking obout fudamentalist. Why wont they tell us when innocent Girls are killed by muslimes and all because they go to a christian school, but they will play video of children who MIGHT have been killed by an errent American smart bomb all day and all night? Oh I forgot, they don't want to show anything that might help the right even if it is the truth. Can we say mind control and social engenerring?

France is not the US. Its murder rate is a lot lower for a start - though rather higher than Britain's.

The USA, lovable cute place that it is, has many odd habits and qualities that some other places don't share. The same goes for France. French people riot. They demonstrate on the streets. Its one of the things they do. They even look on it as one of the freedoms they have that other benighted countries don't. They will riot about just about anything, from foreign wars to the price of fish (literally). When they are demonstrating & rioting they tend to destroy property that symbolises whatever it is they are rioting against. Sometimes they dump huge piles of fish in the streets. The Americans used to do the same, when they were free like the French are. Remember the Boston Tea Party? These rioters are (at least partly) poor people rioting in frustration at being poor so they attack what symbolises those who are wealthier than they are - cars. Very naughty thing to do. But not the end of the world.

British people don't riot like that. We riot much more rarely and when we do it is usually on other grounds. Though sometimes our football supporters destroy things for the sake of it (including cars) but that isn't thought of as a political protest.

By French standards these are non-violent riots. When the CRS get going people get killed. They are also nowhere near the worst political violence in France in livng memory.

[ETA - oh, and Fundamentalist1611, that was no joke but a sincere question. I'm not laughing]

So we are back to your point, Matt. I think it was you who pointed out this goes back to the secularization of France after the revolution.

Indeed - and its about poverty. The French can be extremely annoying - more than slightly scary even - when they go on the rampage. When it's the French farmers and fishermen blockading the roads, burning sheep and dumping fish on the roads, we Brits get especially annoyed because they stop us from going on holiday there (it was Jeremy Clarkson, a Brit TV presenter, who remarked that "France is a wonderful country ruined by the people who live there"), but no-one gets particularly exercised by it. But change the colour of the protesters' skin, and suddenly its all about Islam, and there's a massive outbreak of Islamophobia.

That's what I'm getting annoyed about. (It also ignores the fact that a large amount of the rioting in the smaller French towns and communes over the last few days was by white youths who have nothing to do with Islam.)

Well, I am glad that what is happening in Europe is nothing to worry about and has nothing to do with Islam because some acquaintances of mine like to go to Nice every year and I wouldn't want them to be inconvenienced or blown up.
