    FRANKFORT, Kentucky — The pastor of a Kentucky church that handles snakes in religious rites was among 10 people arrested by wildlife officers in a crackdown on the venomous snake trade.

    There is nothing biblically fundamental about handling snakes.

    Hmm, I wonder who will come forward and support this mans freedom of religion? The ACLU or the ACLJ.

    Now those of us with common sense disregard that passage in Mark* but for those who take it literally; do they have a right under the First Amendment to adhere to this practice.

    So the question is what right does the government have to protect me from myself or my belief? This questions suicide watches, warnings on cigarettes and laws against parachuting off high rise buildings. To their defense, many have been bitten many times and lived. Perhaps it is we who are the fools???
