Sad. What is even worse is that there are already a ton of signatures on the petition. Get over it people!

Thing is even if there was a clock problem the game is done. Sometimes games are won and lost on bad calls. Its just part of sports as maddening as it may be.

Talk about a desperate attempt at nothing. So instead of the dangling chads, we have the mis-managed clock. Will it make it to the Supreme Court?

To be honest, I noticed the clock stopped while watching the game. I'm not a Pats fan, but I was still pulling for them to win...more of a Giants dislike I guess. I don't think it would have made any difference though. With Eli and his receivers making plays like they did they would still have won the game.

Maybe the "undersigned" should petition the NE Coach for abandoning the running game in the 4th quarter!

It's a really stupid argument, because it assumes that if the clock had not been stopped, everything else would still have happened exactly as it did. If the clock had still been running, the Giants would have stopped it at some point via a time out or spike, giving themselves additional time. The way Eli Manning was playing at that point, I have no doubt he would have managed the clock just fine and driven them to the winning score regardless.
However, as has been pointed out, all of that is irrelevant. They don't go back and change referee mistakes after the fact, except for challenges and booth reviews during the game, which must take place before the ball is snapped for the next play. Changing anything after the game is over will never happen.

The Giants won the Super Bowl? Did i miss it???
I love football and i love talking about the out come of games...but i'm sick of hearing about the Pats, their alleged cheating and then losing the Super Bowl; it's time to get over it and move on!
