My church seems to love this man and I do not like that. I have one of his books and gave it 3 stars on amazon. He does not write very well, makes grammar errors often, and plaragizes other authors. Another book by his ministry I gave 1 star because of the KJV Only rants, and other legalistic teachings. I used to listen to his Podcast but shut him off. While he is not a bad man and has some good teachings, he is not replacing a gifted teacher like a John MacArthur, David Jeremiah, or Charles Stanley.

I sure wish that my church would use books from Piper, MacArthur, David Platt, instead of Chapell. It makes me sad but I have to ignore it. What is your take on this individual? Perhaps in his logic one isa good christian if they read from the KJV, listen only to Hymns, engage in weekly soul winning, separate from movie theaters, and do not dance.
