Paul says Americans' freedoms under siege
    By: John Bresnahan

If Rep. Ron Paul had his way, a lot of things would change. Abortion would be illegal. There would be no federal income tax, nor even an IRS.

The United States would be out of the United Nations. The U.S. Supreme Court wouldn’t be messing with state law. The Federal Reserve and World Bank would disappear. And there would no longer be background checks to buy handguns.

Incorrect. He wants states to be able to legalize it. Let's not gloss over the facts. Hillary and Al do enough of that for the world.

Oh I have, why dont' you prove that Ron Paul wants States to legalize abortion. You keep making these aspersions on Ron Paul with no proof whatsoever to back any of your claims. Truth is , you can't. You have discredited yourself Timmy.

So what your saying is that ronnie doesnt want states to be able to decide for themselves to legalize abortion? And by the way ronnie is discrediting himself with ridiculous denials of past attacks on America.

By removing the Feds from States rights it is more likely that Abortions would become banned on a State by State level, Ron Paul sees that . After more than 33 years of Roe vs. Wade with the Supreme Court being the ones to legalize abortion in the first place it is time to put that responsiblity into more competent hands , we obviously cannot depend on the Feds to do the right thing.

On April 19,1995 the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed by a U.S terrorist. Was this attack imminet enough to drop a nuclear bomb on Timothy McVeigh's home town?

On Dec. 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese but this attack did not happen on an entity that was officially part of the United States but was a territory of the United States. As a whole Japan could have never mounted a sucessful attack on the U.S. mainland.
Have we had attacks against America over the past 220 years? Yes we have, question is how imminent were these attacks or were they imminet at all.

How big of a threat was Tim McVeigh to the sovereignty of America? His actions created a lot of chaos and destroyed a lot of lives but Timothy vs. the U.S.A was never a real contest in the first place.

To say that terrorist attacks are imminent doesnt portray our country as a United States with any backbone. Terrorist attacks will happen on U.S. soil but will never be a threat to the point it will cause our destruction.

I have read Paul say that abortion is a state issue and he has voted against Federal restrictions on abortion (those have been delineated at length before). He is a pseudo-conservative on abortion at best.

Ron Paul is commendable on many levels. His psuedo pro-life stance isn't one of them.
