The opportunity to finally unseat the most powerful pro-abortion Senator, Arlen Specter, finally came. Specter will sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he can block any atttempts to appoint pro-life judges.

Jim Clymer, a stalwart pro-life candidate, may have had a long shot at winning the election, but it was thought that at least he could dislodge Specter, after many many years.

Millions Christians went to the polls and dutifully bowed before their Idol of the Republican Party, and offered up a blood offering of millions of unborn babies.

One would think that they will, for the next six years, refrain from criticizing pro-abortion politicians, just having dutifully elected one. But, such moral consistency is probably too much to expect from today's church.

    God help us.

I was staring at the tv going "huh, ya really said that?" last night when the news was talking about how it looked like Kerry lost. The partner asked the guy talking "what will it take for a Democrat to win Ohio, ever?"
He said "in Ohio you simply have to say you're 100% against abortion or you simply won't be voted for, it is *the* key issue here!"

    Yeah, right.

He is a republican, and annointed by Bush himself.

So he wins. And the killing will continue.

Afraid so. I'm sure you aren't referring to the mass of people who vote republican (most of whom are pro-life) as much as to the leadership of the GOP, who are pro-abortion.
