    If you had the choice to choose which debate would be authoritatively settled, making the truth crystal clear and having everyone in agreement, which issue would you choose?

    What might some of the "other" reasons be? One I meant to put on that I forgot to is "I am undecided on this issue, and would REALLY like to know the truth!" [​IMG]

    Without eternal security there is no gospel (good news).

    If you settle the Clavinism/Arminean debate, with a correct understanding of the Doctrines of Grace by showing all Armenians their error. All the others such as KJO, Creation, Sola Scriptura, and Protestantism/Landmarkism, will fall in line.
    Soteirology is one of the most important issues in Christainity, second only to Christology.

    Eternal security, and "Other."

    Without eternal security Jesus is made to be a liar.

    I voted 'Other" since none of the options were valid for this choice.

    I wish so much that all of God's children would wake up to the realization that their salvation is secured in and by Christ alone. That we, as mere dead men, are incapable of saving ourselves from an eternal hell, and no works of any kind on our part, including "accepting Jesus as our personal Savior", have or can ever save us, but only the grace, love, and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would be so overjoyed for man to stop taking credit in that which he was not even alive to be credited with.

    If that issue was ever settled, I would never argue about another thing with you all. That is the paramount issue of the bible, imo. It is all of God, and none of man.

    After that, if everyone would just agree with me on every other issue, I would be perfectly satisfied. :D

    I voted Eternal Security for the "other" reason that it has eternal importance.

    Faith/works because eternal security is wrapped up in that and its extremely important to know.
