    Story LINK

As a dog lover and owner, these kinds of news stories really get to me. Frankly, if I was in a situation like this and I was told I couldn't have my dogs go with me or have them removed to safety at the same time, then I wouldn't leave. I would rather die with my dogs than to leave them to die by themselves.

Some of you probably don't understand that kind of thinking, but that's okay. Some of us are just wired differently.

Ken, I understand that thinking totally. Wife asked me what I would do, and I agree that my thinking would be the same.

I take God seriously when He said He gave us dominion over the animals. This word dominion means more than mere power over them. It includes responsibility for them.

    Cheers,

    Jim

I can't imagine leaving pets behind either. [IMG] Most people I talk to say the same thing, that they would not leave their pets behind to fend for themselves or die.

I could never imagine leaving my animals alone. Those animals must have been terrified..that's so sad.

I have two Chihuahua's and I would hate to have to leave them in this situation. I would kill both of my dogs before I would leave them to starve.
