Pew poll shows Obama on downward slide

    A new Pew poll shows that President Barack Obama’s ratings have plunged downwards, while his disapproval ratings are climbing.

    He’s got a thumbs-up from only 41 percent of 2,003 adults, and 53 percent disapproval.

    The approval rate has fallen from 55 percent in December, and it puts him close to President George W. Bush, whose ratings for the same time-period in 2005 were only 35 percent, said the Pew report. Among registered voters, he’s got 39 percent approval, 56 percent disapproval.

    Obama has even worse numbers than Bush on particular issues, such as his second-term push for increased immigration.

    He’s got 32 percent support for his efforts to award 30 million green-cards to mostly low-skill immigrant workers during the next decade. But 60 percent of the respondents oppose the increased flow into the nation’s high-skill, high-unemployment economy. Even among his Democratic supporters, he faces 42 percent disapproval.

    Back in February, as the immigration debate was starting, he had 44 percent support for his immigration policy.

    On the economy, he’s got 31 percent approval, 66 percent disapproval.

    He’s only got 37 percent approval on his highest first-term priority, health-care, and faces 59 percent disapproval amid reports of canceled policies, broken websites and rising prices.

    OK I'll post.

    And the president doesn't really care if he truly becomes a lame duck.

    Because he has accomplished his objective - America, has become a nation of socialized medicine.
    This is the point of no return.

    We can never again go back to being a republic with a representative government.

    We were defrauded. - we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it...

    IOW the informed consent of the governed was not the issue. It was already a done deal. The sheople needed to shut up and wait for the bill to pass and become law before they could read it.

    Nonetheless, I tried reading it long before it was voted upon, it kept changing, many words and phrases were URL linked to other laws and regulations. It was an entangled mess with little continuity (At least the versions we were allowed to attempt to read).

    I posted many excepts here on the BB proving for one thing - the "death lists" - leaving the decisions of who gets the dialysis machine e.g. and who are allowed to die (comfortably, of course) up to the state doctors .

    Well, now we are beginning to know what's in it and many of his supporters are also feeling betrayed.

    Was it planned? i.e. the way it is now going (Massive cancelations of healthcare policies) for it to morph into a single-payer federally mandated and enforced system (IRS)?

    Many are convinced it was/is.
