38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. .39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. From Acts 8, a pattern of baptism in the Bible. Christ's baptism states that He came out of the water, and does not address John. However, here in Acts 8, both went under the water. So why is it, that Baptist pastors never go under water with the person being baptized? Could it be, like some of those that claim to be pastors on this board, they are very dry and already all wet at the same time?
