    Did you frame that one and give it to his wife? That's a fun picture!

    I found myself online while doing a search (hahaha, that was fun) and I had forgotten about this photo. I took it for the story I was writing and didn't think much, but once I put the photos on the computer, this one jumped out at me as really cool.     Just my Fuji Finepix camera. I think it was my S5000. Low intensity flash, macro setting, slight angle to the glass of the aquarium and shot in the evening to prevent reflection of the flash or sunlight.

    I've heard that once you visit Alaska you leave a piece of your heart there. Someday, I hope to go back to visit that piece of my heart. :thumbs:

    These are so great! I love that tree CFI. You should name it "Living on the Edge." Right? Of course right!

    For those going to the blog to look at the Painted Lady Butterfly, I changed it to a Monarch but the painted lady is still in the "my photography" picasa web album.

    CF1- Those remind me of the days when my brother and I used to go to the Quetico.
    Cascade SP is on the north shore of Superior, isn't it? Or maybe I am thinking of Temperance River. It was quite a few years ago.

    Yes, both are on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

    My favorite State Park is a tie between Bear Head Lake State Park and Scenic State Park, MN, which are near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, which is adjacent to Quetico in Canada. The benefit of State Parks over BWCA Wilderness areas is that they have showers and drive in camping access, so my wife is willing to come along.
