Ok, I got the html thingie down, now I need to learn how to work with php.
I have a really good feeling that if my computer could save/read .php3 files it would be an immense help! :D
Or is that even how to save them?
No, I don't know what I'm talking about, that's why I'm asking for help. ;)
I think I need to download something to be able to have my computer read the files, but I can't seem to find it. I need it to work with Windows, not Unix.
Don't worry, once I get over the dumb stuff like this I learn fast, I promise. [IMG]

You should download/install apache for windows and php for windows. It would allow you to test your php scripts. You can open a php (php3 it outdated and shouldn't be used) with any text editor. I would suggest picking up a good php (or php/mysql) book and learn from that.

    Hope that helps,
    Jason

you don't need to install apache to use php in windows - you can download the windows version from php.net

I have it running on windows personal web server on win2k pro here so if you get stuck with the install let me know and I'll try to help.
