Askjo did the same thing on the "Fighting Fundamental" board a few months back in a "Please provide Scriptural support for KJVO" thread there, mumbling this stuff about a "predicted model" and then skeedaddling from the board without providing any Scriptural support for that idea, either. I wouldn't waste any time with this unless we see some SCRIPTURE.

Come on AskJo. It's a simple question in response to your proclamation. Provide us with the Biblical proof.

He will disappear for a few days or weeks then pop up again and make the same claim.

Yes I deny that the Scripture would defend in any way shape or form the statement that "The KJV is the RECEIVED BIBLE because the Scripture predicted the translation mode."

If it does, then give the Scripture, however:

2 Timothy 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

1 Timothy 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

We all need to consider this verse, especially the last part.

Agreed. However, It seems to me that to continually make false and misleading statements on any subject would tend to gender strife.

One of my members in a past church visited her son's church. She didn't know that much about it except that he and his family loved attending there. Anyway, she went to Sunday School and was warmly welcomed. But, in the course of the class she was told by the teacher that she needed to get rid of her NIV and get a real Bible (the KJV of course). Now, when she comes back to me with questions am I supposed to just not say anything and let her remain in her confusion? No! We must contend against false doctrine as it leads innocent people astray and into further legalism. Now, as to some of the debate around here, I'd have to admit that some strife is gendered.

That notion is easily refuted as soon as I open my copies of the Reina-Valera Spanish Bible, Gutenburg German Bible, and the Statenvertaling Dutch Bible.
