When two policemen turned up unannounced at Alan Rawlinson's home asking to speak to his young son, the company director feared something serious had happened.
So he was astounded when the officers detailed 11-year-old George's apparent crime - calling one of his schoolfriends 'gay'.
They said primary school pupil, George, was being investigated for a 'very serious' homophobic crime after using the comment in an e-mail to a 10-year-old classmate.

I believe the enthusiasm with which these police dealt with this boy, though misguided and politically correct is how it will soon be in the persecution of Christians. Police and citizens alike will have a fervor for it.

two sides to every story

On the other hand, perhaps this kid is a bully and needed the daylights scared out of him.

When I was a kid, the cops would regularly show up at the home of the parents of bullies to warn them to knock it off.

Then the 'sensitive' crowd came to power and we lost something. That something is called respect for authority.
