I have no problem with doing what it takes to keep germs from spreading & if that means staying in my home, I'd be willing to do that. I just don't like the idea of people coming into your home, dragging you out, & carting you off to some place where other people are sick.

If I'm on the verge of death, then I say by all means get me somewhere I can be treated & recover. Just don't take me there to die.

As long as an infected person is doing everything they can to ensure that others don't catch it, the police have no right to pull you from your home.

Oh, but they do have that right now. Laws are no longer for your protection, but rather to ensure the continuance of government control.

A game warden doesn't need a warrant, and hasn't for quite a while. Those bad old "socalists" game wardens.

The police, CIA and FBI don't need warrents under the Patriot Act.

Uh...yes he/she does. They have to get one to search anywhere after the fact.
Here in Texas, (and you said once you were a Texan, so if you fished, or hunted, you should know this), yes, they can search any camp-site, boat, cabin, or vehicle if you are in the process of fishing or hunting. The old rumor about them being able to come to your home/fish camp/hunting camp and nose around is just a rumor. Game Warden's are some of the best of the law-enforcement that we have in Texas. 'Socialists' and 'game warden' shouldn't even be used in the same sentence, even if it was to try to make your point.

Well.....I am on the spot here ain't I? It's just that, given her postings, she seems to me the same as being the same maturity as when my 15 year old daughter gave her opinion about worldly things during dinner. But the only time I have heard more radical diatribes is from an individual who was ,
    (1) A girl, (not a woman, which denotes a level of maturity)
    (2) a Liberal Arts student. One of several that I taught. (About something else,of course).
With the exception that my daughter doesn't believe that abortion is a political choice, and that freedom is still the norm in America...(well, at least in the south /southwest) what's-her-name can just believe what she wants.... other than that...she can ......
    But if she's a 'man'....gee...you have my.....condolences....

Bush is no longer the president but he rammed the Patriot Acts through Congress playing on the fears of terrorism right after 9/11. They are still law and they are what has taken away our constitutional rights.

I personally believe that both the government and medical community want to frighten people with these flu reports. The government so it can extend power, the medical community simply to make money. Here is an interesting article in two parts (too long for one post)
