Never heard of a CalvAnist.

 

I believe in the Doctrines of Grace and I have read very little of Calvin, so I do not like to use the term "Calvinist".

 

I am not a Calvanist nor a Calvinist and/or Determinist; I am a strong advocate of delivering the doctrines of grace , but not "The" "Doctrines of Pre-selected Grace" -aka DoG.

 

Really, my comment has nothing to do with how you believe, it has to do with the life Calvin lead.

Hey, although we are on opposite sides on election, I must admit, that is very creative. I actually like that.

 

Before one can comment, minimal knowledge of English grammar should be required. Minimal knowledge of sovereignty and grace is not required in writing articles on how to stir spaghetti, removing gum from carpets, "should I wash my cousin's hand-me-downs?", or even how to sign up on a forum to become a keyboard gangster.

Such a very strict standard for commenting on "a subject". No wonder there are no Calvinist rocket scientists!

Insult all you want. IMO you are on your way out. I have never known one other poster to falsify an education level, or fail to give credit to a source, something a high school graduate knows is wrong.

I am a Christian therefore I hold no allegiance to Calvinism, Arminism, Roman Catholicism, 7 Day Advent-ism, Jehovah Witness-ism, Zionism, Paganism, Pelagis-ism...or any of these other Ism's I have seen masquerading on this board & also in this fallen world today. He is my Lord & master & Sovereign Ruler of the universe...& it is my privilege to praise His glory to the world to the end of my days.

If you want to bottom line this, I would quote the Westminster Confessions, "Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever."

No!!! When I was younger I was a Calvinist but am not today, all of that changed for me in the late 60's.
