My brother died as a result of Agent Orange in Viet Nam. It hurts, my friend, still. I only brought it up because you implied that I hold a position that intentionally hurts troops.</font>
Yes, I did, because that is the way I see it. Your brother's death is indeed tragic and I am sorry for your loss and all that, but you're insisting that I campare apples to ball peen hammers. Your position intentionally hurts the troops. Period.

Perhaps because it sounds like you are playing the martyr. I have no idea otherwise. Again, this is how it appears to me.

You have my permission to redirect your pity. I niether need, appreciate, nor acknowledge it.

You addressed nothing. And if by "grow up," you mean "act and think like Pennsylvania Jim," thank you, no.

No, the "war on terror" was drawn up by the neo-con's in the Bush administration years before he was ever elected. The "war on terror" is Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea, etc. OLB was added after 9/11, which just happend to be the "catastrophic and catalysing event - like a new Pearl Harbor" they were waiting for, in order to "bang the drums of war" and start this "war on terror".

You can scoff if you like, but I have not posted anything that is not based on facts, you can find the 95-page document from PNAC that had the plan for the invasion in it, and even said that the invasion could only take place if there were a "catastrophic and catalysing event - like a new Pearl Harbor". This is no conspiracy theory, this is based on facts, in all makes sense if you understand how a neo-con thinks.

What's a PNAC?

And I truly appreciate your definition of "facts."

Yeah, hardshell, big whoop until some contingency actually happens, then it automatically equals conspiracy... but only, of course, if you happen to be teh bu54.

How is it conspiracy? You have a contingency plan and something beyond your control triggers it. That's called good planning and preparedness where I come from.

I'm agreeing with you, hardshell. The problem is that all the Bush haters see everything as a conspiracy. If a man owns only a hammer, then all the world becomes his nail.

When the same neo-cons make the "contingency plans" for foriegn policy in the 70s, 80s and 90s and all end up in the GOP adminstration that carries out those "plans" it's not consipracy, just a fact that they have an agenda.

Project for the New American Century (PNAC) is a neo-conservative think-tank that promotes an ideology of total U.S. world domination.

The group's core ideas are expressed in a 95-page report produced for Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Jeb Bush, and Lewis Libby entitled Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources For a New Century.

The founding members of PNAC have been the descision makers in the GOP since the 1970's, I don't call it a conspiracy, just a fact of politics.

Again, I have not posted conspiracy, but facts, I have even given you a link to the PNAC web site where you can read for youself. If you choose to ignore the plain truth because of your blind party loyalty, there is nothing I can do for you.

The first link seems sound enough and looks like the people on it have some common sense.

The second link is basically a Libertarian Party link. Really not worth reading.

Then we should have deployed a nuclear bomb on Sept. 12th? </font>
On the 12th we didn't know who
had hit us.

Who had hit us was a group of people without
a country. They have nothing to loose
by sacrificing their lives.

We should police the world.
To police a key portion of the earth,
we need military bases in Iraq.
We can do this without the draft.
We cannot now do this without Bush.

As a student of Bible prophecy, one can only think of the many end-time prophecies concerning Babylon - not far from where present day Baghdad is.

A terrorist recruiter in France boasted tonight on the Nightly News with Dan Rather, that he is actively recruiting from all over the globe for Baghdad. He stated "ALL roads lead to Baghdad."

He also stated, "We will take Jerusalem. We will kill all Jews until there is not one left on the face of the earth." He also boasted they will kill Americans wherever they find them.

Some can choose to scoff at the fact that we may be approaching the end-times as prophesied in Scripture. I believe we are seeing the beginnings of end-time prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes. Also on the news tonight was about Iran's nuclear weapons. These places are mentioned in end-time prophecy. Another proof to me that God is Who He Says He is and He is Real. I'm glad He let us know in His Word how it all turns out. Praise the Lord!
