Sadly, I do not have much hope that the judges will rule on Constitutional grounds rather than on political principal. I truly hope that I am very, very wrong and that the plan in it's entirety is struck down.

I agree. I no longer trust the SCOTUS and believe them to be in cahoots with obama, now that I know he held a private meeting with them before he was sworn in and has since filled 2 seats and 1 of those (Kagan) refused to recuse herself. :tear:

You do not KNOW this. It has been alleged by conspiracy theorists.

I think Judge Roberts and friends will stall the decision because it might/will help Obama.

I wonder who is foolish enough to believe it will be upheld. The Dems in office do not even believe that.

    How so?

When it is overturned will Obama claim that the unconstitutional healthcare bill was written by Bush?

    Political Pessimist????

I am not to hopeful, as I think a lot of our nations politics are bought and sold in the dark hallways of DC. I think the entitlement folks are going to win this one.

BTW-My insurance, which wasn't suppused to change or I could keep it if I liked it, continues to adjust [upwards] in order to get ready for Obamacare, and it is costing me more than ever. I may have to go to the new program to save some money :laugh::laugh:

It doesn't really matter; it's a foot in the door. Perhaps, if it is overturned and Romney wins in November, he will bring much needed national health care to all Americans.

Private/secret, point is, the general public doesn't know about this, nor was it broadcasted by most of the press. I didn't know about it myself until I read it on a blog somewhere and researched it out and you really have to dig through the web to find much of anything about it. That is beside the point, anyway. It happened.

I proved to you that it is not alleged by conspiracy theorists, but that it happened. So hopefully that is settled for you.

The fact that the SCOTUS keeps putting off the big announcement about obamacare (now it's supposed to be Thursday), tells me that they are going to uphold it, otherwise, they wouldn't play these suspense games and keep everyone guessing and the economy in turmoil. It's ridiculous, 1/5 of our economy is at stake here. :tear:

What I think they will do is strike down the individual mandate but uphold the rest. I also believe that is what they should do because it would uphold the Constitution while showing judicial restraint. Now, that's probably the worst option from a practical standpoint. Keeping the no pre-existing condition clauses without a mandate is like Guns N' Roses without Slash. However, from a legal standpoint, that's what they should do.

Turns out I was right. The SCOTUS is corrupt, just like the executive and legislative branches. Sad day for America. Sad day for the Constitution. :tear:

Sad day for religious freedom. Sad day for individual freedom. Sad day for tax payers.

    I am closing my thread.

    Even so, Come, Lord Jesus.

Romans 8:28 is STILL true, folks. "ALL THINGS...."

    Keep the Faith!
