If u read my post u read it wrong. Who changed the heart? God did? Where was the preacher? Where was the revival? U responded if I'm not wrong, that the thief changed his own heart? What doctrine is that? Where is Total Depravity? That thief was DEAD in trespasses and in sin. If he was dead until GOD changed his heart are u implying he changed his own? If u are u misread my post if not I misread yours. Man by an act of WILL can not attain DIVINITY!... Christ Faith Alone... By Christ Love Alone... By Christ Amazing Grace Alone... All Of God or none of God... That is my stand!

The ONLY will left though to sinners like we all once were by very natures found in Adam, was to keep on rejecting Christ though!

You keep repeating this, explain Adam responding to God AFTER he sinned.

Pay careful attention to Adam's demeanor, his attitude as he conversed with God. "That woman you gave me, beguiled me....." He wouldn't hold himself accountable for his rebellion...Eve..."That serpent beguiled me...."sinful man has been the exact same way ever since....

Demeanor has nothing to do with spiritually dead or alive. We are spiritually alive in Christ, God dwelling in us, yet we still sin and when we do we still hide from God through our demeanor.

The scripture shows that Adam could still respond to God after he spiritually died. Cain also sought God's approval through his sacrifice, and you would declare Cain was never regenerated, yet Cain knew God, spoke with God, responded to God, sought God's approval.

Yes, didn't someone here declare the rich young ruler born-again because he came to Jesus seeking approval?

The scripture recording Adam and Cain's relationship with God, AFTER the fall, responding to God absolutely goes against Calvinism's interpretations of the NT.

As everyone can observe here, Calvinist simply choose to ignore it. Unwittingly exercising their freewill to do so :tongue3:

Rich ruler came to jesus NOT to get saved by him really, but as a way to hear Jesus pronounce just how upright and pious a person the ruler was...

He sought the approval of God, but on his own terms, same way many lost still do today!
