(from the Illinois Family Institute Newsletter):

Travelers who want to stay in "clean" hotels--those that don't offer pornographic pay-per-view "adult" movies--will soon have a tool to assist them in their choice of lodging. The new Citizens for Community Values Web site

    http://www.cleanhotels.com

is developing a list of porn-free hotels and hotel chains across the country. Although the site presently focuses on the greater Cincinnati area near the group's headquarters, research is underway to expand this great idea to include "clean" hotels across the country. It should also be noted that a listing of "porn-free" hotel chains can currently be accessed at the bottom of the sites's home page.

This is great Cindy! I would certainly search out these places to spend my money and I would also let them know that I made my choice because they are a "clean" hotel. [IMG]

Now that I can appreciate! So far non-smoking was our best choice in any hotel, but if we can get this feature it will be so much better (don't have to skip channels and be shocked at what you see, when you actually want to watch some news). [IMG]

    This is great, thanks Cindy.

I prefer to associate / do business with organizations that don't even consider offering these kinds of things. That's why I no longer give through the United Way. Even though you can choose to not have your donation sent to Planned Parenthood, they still consider that it should be a possibility that your donation can be sent there. I know I'll catch some heat for that stand but I don't care.

    Thanks again!

I recently stayed in a hotel where they would not have the gideons bible in the room, Yet for a bonus I was given a video card, to watch all the inhouse cable movies, Fine except for the two free porn porn channels!!!

We complained to the managment, I asked them what would have happened if I had kds in there, and they found it first? No Answer, needless to say I am using another motel this year.

Think I need new glasses ... first read the topic as "Pom free Hotels" Thought it a bit discriminatory. Reading it properly, definately a good idea :)

    Regards

Now, now cobbers. Let's be nice to Poor Old Mother England. Mind you, digitally Lower Duxis Abbey is in Grand Fenwick not Great Britain. Besides, the pound sterling is a fine currency. Nothing wrong with encouraging its spending on the local economy.

    Remember San Francisco's unofficial motto:
or as they say in 2003
