    So.... Your point is that someone called you a name, and now your feelings are hurt?!!?! Funny coming from someone who makes a habit of torching everyone that doesn't agree with his sometimes unproveable and umbiblical opinions.

    Well said! 99% of the contentions on this board would be eliminated if this principle were practiced.

    I remember a poem(?) I heard years ago that seems to fit the topic of this thread:

    There is so much good in the worst of us,
    and so much evil in the best of us,
    that it hardly behooves any of us
    to critize or condemn the rest of us!

    Did any of the folks that have just posted to this thread notice that it's from 2001 ? If so, then I apologize for butting in. If not, then maybe Ernie shouldn't be torched for something he posted a year ago. :D

    I wasn't really hinting at anything. Ernie's not missing, he just doesn't post as ofetn as most of us here.

    I was just curious as to why he would start a thread to tell us what awful people we are and then just run away.

    I'm also curious to know if he was indeed referring to War_Eagle, a briliant philosopher, historian, gifted musician, stunningly handsome, and one of the finest human beings it has ever been my pleasure to know. ;)

    I also find it very sad that Christians have moved so far to the left, because they don't understand (or want to understand) the HOLINESS of GOD. [​IMG]

    Even myself only being saved for 14 years in a liberal church, and Praise the Lord for revieling the truth of His Holiness and Separation from the world, find now that churches that were once conservative are now just as liberal as the church I got saved in! :eek: :(

    Does anyone here remember or know what the big argument or debate of the early 50's was? :confused:

    One day when surfing the web using the phrase "Christian Summer Camp" I came across a Christian Nudist Colony site. Yes that's right. And they used the words like "conservative" and "evangelical" in reference to the theological setting.

    Go figure?

    My honey is the firechief of our local volunteer dept. & they sure have been swamped this summer; Farmer's Wife's honey is his assistant. I reckon they're small compared to what you've done. ;)

    Excuse me for being an ignorant, legalistic, opinionated, independent fundamental Baptist.

    I would post a rebuttal to the previous posts but it would just cause more flamming. No matter what one posts some just want to reveal their ignorance by debating. Some wnat to debate for the sake of debate, not to reveal truth.

    A friend once said is best to a cultist who wanted to engage in fruitless debate:

    If you want to ask a question to learn the truth I will answer you; if you are asking a question to start a debate then I will have my 2nd grade son debate wiht you!

    No I haven't chaged in the past year, I still believe the same Bible, worship God of the Bible (don't some of you smart alecs come back with the God of th KJV0) I am not in the crowd that says the KJV is the only Bible. It is the only Bible in English today. Don't bother with your scholarly debates, I am too dumb to understand them.

    After reading some of the remarks in the posts on this thread I hve every right to repond so don't send me threatening private messages as some administraters have already done. If what I believe is too strong for this board then openly admonish me so those who believe as I do can see the true character of thsoe who run this board. Don't sneak around pretending to be one thing then privately admonish thsoe who diagree.
    I have been very open about what I believe.

    How far from the Lord have we as Baptist really come? [​IMG] :confused:

    Was God such a "LEGALIST" for having the Priest put leg wrappings on their legs, under their robes, just to be sure no none accidentally saw their legs, or as God put it "nakeness"? :rolleyes:

    So why do some of you confuse "LEGALIST" with "HOLINESS", when it is God's standard? :eek:

    Hey Bro.Ernie! I was SO concerned that maybe you were ill~or worse! ;) WHEW! That takes a load off my mind! Every morning I wake up & say, "I'm still here?!!" "EVEN SO, COME, LORD JESUS!"

    At least ya ain't been run-off(yet) [​IMG] so that shows ya have lotsa backbone! I don't know where I'd go if I had to leave. :( I felt real blessed to find this little spot~but sometimes I DO wonder about "some" things :confused: & chalk-it-up to being 'this is how the REAL world is'. :rolleyes: [At least there ain't no vulgar language, etc].
