Occasionally while singing a hymn or praying it seems that there just aren't sufficient words in English to express myself. In times like that I turn to other languages. (not that I know any, but I know how to click on a song online or look through a foreign language Bible)

For example, How Great Thou Art in Hawaiian (whatever that is) is absolutely beautiful.

But yesterday was a great day.
Be Thou My Vision has always been my favorite hymn. It continues that way.
But...I have found it in the form of Bi Thus A Mo Shuile by Maire Brennan on the album Whisper To The Wild Water. Another CD for my wishlist!

If you are able to, look it up and listen. It is breathtaking.

Does anyone else here experience the desire to express yourself to God in more than your native tongue while worshipping while singing or reading?

    If crying counts, yes...
There have been times when words were not enough, and the tears just flow... but I have never wanted to express in any other language.

There are always times that words are not enough - thank God for His Spirit.

I absolutely love worshipping in other languages.

I agree, sometimes words just won't do, He is so great He goes beyond words.
