I’ve never read of any instance in the Bible where Jesus or his apostles ever used drama or entertainment to win lost people to the Lord. They simply preached the Truth…and most of their preaching was done in the streets!

I've yet to read where Jesus or his followers stood on the street corners holding signs stating what they believed either, does that make it wrong?

Isaiah 58:1 says to "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their trangressions......"
See also, Ez.22:2; Hos.12:10; Ez.2:3-5; Rom.13:3-4; and my personal favorite, Deut.11:18-20, which is why I have signs in public view at the homeplace.

    SIMIL'ITUDE, n. [L. similitudo.]

    1. Likeness; resemblance; likeness in nature, qualities of appearance; as similitude of substance.

We use only signs/similtudes that are taken from Scripture, except for the murdered-baby pics. Most folks would just as soon throw 'em back in the trash can where they were found. One innocent baby is murdered every 20 seconds in our country & forgotten.

I'm very sorry you are having a problem with me and/or our methods. Sins are publickly condoned, and should also be publickly condemned...May God be glorified in our lives.

    Peace and God bless! [IMG]

I am NOT double-posting, hehheh, but just tho't I'd throw a "funny" in here...

Sure, the apostles had signs…read Mark 16:20, “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.â€￾ (ha,ha,ha) C-ya [IMG]

I don't actually have a problem with your methods of street preaching, I personally don't see how much is accomplished but that's not to say it's wrong. Just like many methods such as street drama, singing, family life centers and many many many others, the idea is to reach people for Christ. For me personally, I'd be turned off from viewing more of a protest of screaming and condemnation but then you'd probably be turned off seeing a drama played out on the street for the purpose of telling a gospel message. To each his own in our callings, just don't ignore the calling and do what God lays on your heart to do.
