Strange that peter/Paul/John ALL stated that you have to CHOOSE to walk in the Spirit and please God, you HAVE to make the choose to walk by faith, not sight, that YOU have to refill your mond with word of god...

Doesn't seem like the elect "HAVE" to do things, eh?

You MUST make the decision to walk in the Holy Spirit, as He will not force you too!

God saves us, but up to us after that to abide in him, walk with him, so that he can produce fruit in us!

God will judge the saints as to how faithful we were with what he commited to us, for loss/rewards for eternity!

    That is up to us!

NOT referring to salvation, but to become mature and made/conformed into image of Christ!

Do you think ALL christians are "forced" by God to being mature, and NOT up to us chosing to do that?

Forget about persuading SBM, he totally avoids life applications of scripture. Turn him over in prayer.

So let me ask you Yeshua, you say you believe in TULIP teachings, I gather from your post that it is your position that believers have a freewill, how does this freewill operate? Is a believer free to choose to do good works and likewise free to choose to do bad works?

before being saved by God, we are free to chose as we would will, its just that due to our sin natures, there are some things could not be willingly to do!

Still free to do either good/bad works, as that falls under what our nature would still allow for!

And what scripture would you reference to show that a person cannot choose to believe God before being saved?

But these do not say one cannot choose to believe God AFTER God draws them. Do you have any verses that say we cannot choose to believe?

God ONLY draws/brings to jesus those whom he will save, so they will accept jesus and choose him, those not drawn will just do as they would naturally will...

"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me." (John 12:32)

    All are not saved though.

The all there is His Offspring, His Fruit Jn 12:24

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

And yes they are all saved !

What you have done in your interpretation is denied the saving effects of Christ's Death, thats Blasphemy in and of itself !

Jesus death did not save all people, as it will only effectual apply towards those who have placed their faith in him!

By Regeneration or New Birth !

The Elect are In Christ by Election, by Redemption, now they are in Him by New Birth. Those who never had any condemnation laid to their charge, and are Legally Counted Righteous before God's Law and Justice, must be born again ! They must be given a Nature that fits what they are Legally. It is this Union with Christ, the New Birth, that grafts the Elect in Christ by Faith, for Faith being the Fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22 as well as the Fruit of Union with Christ experimentally !

It is by this Union that the Elect are said to be those who walk not after the flesh [because they are born again] but after the Spirit, the Spirit of Faith given them in New Birth ! Rom 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

This is when they come to know of their legal standing before God based upon Christ's redemptive blood !

Do you think anyone is listening to you anymore SBM? You are not here for debate, you are here to preach your own solitary version of scripture. Not one here agrees with your views that we are all just puppets on God's string. That should speak volumes to you but your ears are deaf. I highly doubt that even Calvin himself would support you.

What would you say this scripture means to you?

"And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed." (Acts 13:48)
