It appears the Presbyterian USA denomination is about to split again over ordination of those who have same sex marriages. The USA has been the main liberal wing of the Presbyterian church for years, and the PCA one of the main conservative. Some USA members have come to conclusion the denomination is too liberal, and some conservative denominations have voted to take these congregations in to their fellowship.

Really sad, the Presbyterians for the most part are very sound.

Really sad, but divisions are necessary so that those who are approved may be manifested (1 Cor 11:19).

The article is dated January, 2000. Isn't this old news?

    Has anything happened recently?

D James Kennedy is (was) a Presbyterian minister that I respected a lot.

He held to a literal acceptance of the Word of God in Genesis 1-2 and that led him to reject some of the flagrant errors of USA branch of his denomination.

    in Christ,

    Bob
