Mr. Obama, once sworn in, will make his first state visit to Canada. We are honoured to have him and he will be made welcome.

We have a treat called Beaver Tails in Ottawa, and in honour of Mr. Obama's visit, the company are assembling a new treat called Obama Tails.....If he is as popular as Beaver Tails he will have it made.

    Cheers,

    Jim

He's dodging his own draft !!!!!!

    Just kidding, folks.

My brother Tim, who is a Warrant Officer in the Navy, was not Bill Clinton's biggest fan, but he said when he met him, he was in awe of him. I imagine that's part & parcel of the gig.

So, what part of Obama are you going to use for the tails ? :saint:

We will have to see what happens.

We feel honoured that he sees Canada as a useful neighbour and hopefully we can work together.

Mr. Clinton does impress himself upon you personally. He came here for an hour's book signing. The lineup was endless and he remained an additional two hours and never a nasty word about how busy and important he was. Sometimes we can look beyond the politics and the personal flaws.

Once Mr. Obama learns about the Canadian Beaver Tails, I believe he will be impressed that the company made some in his name.........at least he should smile and amuse us.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Good to hear Jim, y'all treat him well and give him a big Canadian welcome. Don't keep him to long, we have a crises that needs his attention.

Jim, just don't let him become too enamoured of your beautiful country. We (well, some of us) want him back at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue!
