At a campaign rally in Denver today O'Bama claimed that Romney was not at the debate last night; it was someone else!

He certainly didn't watch the same one that I watched. Romney won, hands down!

    ??

    You're changing the subject.

People are going to Hell with or without my or anyone else's support or non-support of Romney.

That is a killer video, I noticed Obama's smirk last night when I was watching the debate. Awesome.

Obama doesn't even know how to smirk correctly, here is how you do it.

Though I am not for either candidate, I did enjoy watching that debate! Romney did a great job.

Obama said some wonderful things and made it sound as if he could really get this country back on track. For a split second, I thought "wow, some of this sounds wonderful, maybe he really could," but then I remembered that it's been four years...and he hasn't.

Obama's facial expressions were pretty interesting to watch. He doesn't seem to have good control over his expressions/body language and that probably brought him down in the debate even more than his actual words. It also didn't help to hear him seem rude the moderator when he said "...I had five more seconds before you interrupted me!" and then proceed to talk for so very much longer than those five seconds. At one point, I timed the "two minute responses" and was amazed that Romney got it down pretty much to the second.

Romney must have spent a lot of time preparing in order to be able to do that, which tells me he cared about it and took it to be a very serious matter, even more so than our own President did. I was sad to see the President didn't appear to put that much effort into preparing for this debate.

On a final note, how priceless was it when Romney turned around and pointed to the words all over the wall behind him? Beautiful!

(btw, any reports on what that bang was that distracted both of them?)

    PS: A note to moderators.

This is a hot and current topic, so I'm really hoping to see it remain open for ongoing conversation. Sometimes an exception to a rule is a wonderful thing. :wavey:

Nothing amazing about it, really. There was a countdown clock hanging from the ceiling above the moderator's head that would reset to 1:59 as soon as one of the candidates started speaking. The fact that Obama so oftentimes went over 2 minutes, IMO, shows his arrogance.

Yeah, I still think it is pretty amazing to be able to give a response that fully addresses the opponent's argument, summarizes, then closes with a strong sentence and have it fall within seconds of the correct time.

Shoot. I can't manage to say everything I want half the time in 50 minutes, even without the stress of the world watching!
