At least this will given them a reason for not getting anything done. Up til now, they have simply been doing nothing for no reason.

Actually a couple of things have been accomplished since the dems to control of congress:

    1. Gas has reached an all time high

    2. Congresses approval rating has reached an all time low

Rep. Kucinich's impeachment articles have as much chance of being reported out of the Judiciary committee as his chances were to be the Democratic Party's Presidential nominee.

    No, that was last month.

    *

This month, he is trying again with just one article, the 'Bush Lied about WMD' thing. Dems want no part of it, probably because all their old statements on disarming Saddam would be brought into the light again.

But Kucinich? he is on a mission. Direct orders from the mother ship.

"Lionel" on AirAmerica made a pretty good argument on why we should not impeach Bush. Not sure where I stand on the issue, but "Lionel" made a great case for his point of view.

    Could you post a link

Could you post a link please, thankyou

I think Bush will be censored at some point and not allowed to leave the country because of War Crimes other nations define, now Karl Rove I think he is going to prison at some point.

An Obama administration will not go after Bush strongly but I think the ball is already rolling on Rove.

[Warning: Lionel is prone to use words that may be offensive to those who are easily offended.]

This is actually an abbreviated version of what I heard. Lionel is an attorney (former prosecutor as well as a defense attorney) and laid out the rationale for NOT impeaching, and discussing at length the whole concept of the integrity of the executive office. This discussion took place the day after he interviewed Vincent Bugliosi (who has written that book about the POTUS).

IMO, he is already going to be remembered as the worst POTUS ever (supplanting Warren G. Harding), and we should just leave it at that. Anyone spearheading an impeachment hearing will be just as bad as Newt Gingrich, a man of no character or integrity.

    Nah, won't happen.

Karl Rove - I have stated on several occasions that I marvel at his ability. Rove is the zen master - making Carville/Begala look like schoolkids. He took the politics of personal destruction to an art form.

That being said, if he had anything to do with the ordeal surrounding the Alabama Governor, he cannot claim Executive Privilege, as that would imply that he had discussions with the POTUS, thus dragging him into the investigation. But we shall see.

    Regards, hope all is well,
    BiR

An impeachment would be like the crooks investigating each other. What good would that do?

    Impeachment?

It's too little too late if at all:

This is just a distraction........... sorry I even posted it.

Maybe there are some legislatures participating who hope their positions on this issue will buy them another term.

We ought to fire all the (fill in with any ugly but applicable word here) and vote in a new House and Senate!

It would be helpful if we still actually had two parties. Now all we got is two globalist factions bickering over how best to harmonize the United States with other countries already under foreign "international" control.

An impeachment at best would only be a distraction a sort of limited hang out that would scapegoat one or two crooks so the rest can go on about their business.

I agree Poncho, we need to just ride out the storm and hope things get better. There is no good to come from impeaching Bush but there is potential harm on the international stage.

In due time Bush's crimes against the American people and the world will come out. If not in this world, he'll have the "opportunity" to review his whole miserable life with God.
