No you didn't. You claimed false statements by him. Will you back them up ? You certainly haven't yet.

Wow...is that the best you have?

If you're going to derail a thread...at least give a halfway decent comparable example.

Funny thing is, I don't particularly like Limbaugh. He's too arrogant for my taste, and his marriage & lifestyle choices have disturbed me in the past...so defending him isn't my forte.

However, CTB will be the first to complain any time his threads are derailed. But then you see him engaging in the very same behavior. And when pressed, the example he gives isn't just weak...it's anorexic.

Crabby, if you're going to hypocritically crash a thread...at least give a better example.

You have not done as asked. You were asked to show where Limbaugh has made false statements. Steinbrenner is a cracker. Therefore, Limbaugh did not make a false statement. Try again.

I have heard of people born in Ohio being called Buckeyes ... but never Crackers. Thus you and Rush are wrong and both of you should apologize ... both for your lack of geographic knowledge, and also in attempting to cast an insult upon a recently deceased person. You should be ashamed.

I simple said, earlier, that she had the class to apologize and, to my knowledge, Rush has never apologized for anything he has said. Others derailed the post by asking for a quote. I gave one.

Are you saying Rush has never personally attacked anyone?

Don't you just love how they come out of the woodwork to defend poor old Rush!

Dude, your original statement from page 1 was that Rush has never apologized about any of the hateful stuff he has said about others; then for your example, you posted a statement he made about the double-standard of racism.

You're the one that initiated the derailing by comparing the NPR producer's comments with that of Limbaugh's. I entertained your derailing of the thread by showing why you were comparing apples and oranges.

Now, if you can show where Limbaugh has ever made comments like how he would laugh maniacally and dance on someone else's grave, then your point is valid. So far, however, you're failing miserably.

Oh, and by the way: Your analogy between "Buckeyes" and "Crackers" is also so way off the mark, it's laughable. While "cracker" is attributed to having an origin of meaning the person who cracked the whip, it has evolved to a racist remark used against white people. Like the word "gay," for example. Has nothing to do with state mascots. If you're going to make comparisons, please attempt to make them intelligent comparisons.

That's a bald-faced lie, and you knew it when you entered your post. You derailed the thread. Everyone recognizes the lie...I'm sure you do as well, though I imagine your pride will forbid you from admitting wrongdoing.

    Shame on you.

As one poster has frequently stated:

"Liberals are incapable of making logical and/or meaningful comparisons."

This proves true time after time.

While there may be exceptions, they certainly do not frequent this board.

Rush and I are insulting a recently deceased person by calling them white? The same thing Rush or I would call ourselves? You are too funny.

Not defending Rush. I don't listen to him.

But I do expect people who try to hold him up as an analogy, to at least make the analogy in the same ballpark.

SO - we all agree the NPR producer was wrong, and that we're glad she apologized?

Do you understand what the phrase "come out of the woodwork" actually means?
