    It may be but it is not enough. Police officers are servants of the citizens of the community who employ them through their local government. Therefore, police officers have a huge responsibility to be accountable to the citizens who employ them, especially when they discharge their weapons.

    Before we do what? Police officers are accountable to us from the moment they put on a badge.
