Okay I can take a hint. From now on I'll post in the recipes thread as Robin, but I'm not going to put a flower next to my name.

C'mon in RB. If the girls put up with my pitiful attempts at cooking they'll absolutely love your recipes.

Don't worry about your manhood, remember all the great chefs are male[or so Helen told me]. Most people think men only cook burgers, and eggs. Let's show 'em we can boil water, and after some thought, make toast too.

Many of the chefs on Food Network are male, including Alton Brown, Bobby Flay, Emeril Lagasse, Mario Batali, etc. There's also Gordon whats-is-name from the UK and a number of very good Iron Chefs from Japan.

BTW, Alton Brown has the best cooking show ever, Good Eats. I think it's a bit silly when he does things like show how to make your own tortillas, but it's a great show. He also made the ugliest looking cake ever when he made bright green cake frosting using an avocado. The frosting looked like it was straight out of a bad sci-fi movie.

I like knowing the why and how of things like Alton Brown shows.
But Paula Deen is my favorite, plain country food.
