In a nut shell, if you believe you can lose your salvation, you will never get it back.

Well, what does it mean if you don't believe that you can lose your salvation? I am genuinely confused about these verses...

It means basically the same thing for OSAS. I think it is more of a mocking as if saying "if you think you can lose your salvation, you will never get it back since you have to crucify Christ again, and that is not going to happen".

Is it then referring to a hardening of one's heart? Someone who turns their back on the Gospel, and reaching a position where they're not willing to repent?
