Dr. Bob wrote this on the "are baptists the new age church' thread,
we've discussed oness pentecostals before here, and they are considered a cult, their doctrine is not biblical, it is not christian, then why was this person told to post only in the other christians forums, if their 'church' is not christian? That would be like letting JW's post here.

was looking on the internet for information and found this thread here on the BB
    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=37411

multiply sights about oness and them being a cult of false teachings, a simple search will give you thousands to read.

Simple put. I am not a oneness anything I am a southern baptist, Raised in the Baptist for over 30 years and I teach the word of God. The whole word of God and not just the parts some some blinded people preach. It isn't the Gosple unless you preach the whole word and that is what I do.
And I even give scriptures when allow to support my Teaching. I as a baptist must also protest the mis spend logic of this forum. Not all baptist are dead, Some actually have the Holy Spirit. Some actually speak in tounge, Some operate in the Gifts of God and some do not. Which is also supported in the bible. And Some are teachers and some are not.
Not all are equal in knowledge nor skilled or learned in the things of God. And you can be setting in a baptist Church in bondage and yoked in witchcraft just like you can in any church. The evidence of being yoked in witchcraft is when truth is being shines upon, you can't bear it. And I pointed to truth in the word of God. Thus the reaction.

Also as I keep talking about the trinity, How Could I be compared to oneness. I Just tread the post you have on oneness. Let me proclaim for all I am a bible teacher and teach the trinity of God as in the Godhead. Father Son and Holy Spirit, one spirit and three persons. I also teach nothing the Lord has not taught me personnly. Over vast time. And I preach and teach for the Baptist.

Joseph - If you have time before you go, could you tell me how many persons are in the Godhead? Orthodox Christianity (true Christianity - I'm not speaking of the Orthodox church) believes in the Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - all three God. However, you're introducing some new persons if I'm reading your posts correctly.

Again, you are practicing witchcraft.. because the Bible states that rebellion is as witchcraft.. and you have been told NOT to post in the Baptist only section.. by an authority on this board, Dr. Bob.

Your beliefs betray your claim that you are Baptist.

IF you are Baptist.. get a clearance from the administrators before posting in the Baptist only section...

YOUR rebellion against the rules and authorities on this board speaks volumes about who you are.

Why do you call Jesus the "lesser light" of Genesis? Where do you get this from?

I've asked you three times now.

You, sir, are an affront to the very name of "Southern Baptist" and to all Baptists in general. You espouse things diametrically opposed to Baptist fundamentals (modern day apostles and prophets, as well as continued revelation, for example). And then have the audacity to want to condemn those of us strong enough in our faith to speak against such heresy.

As Tim said, you are continuing to post in rebellion. By what Dr.Bob posted when he closed your last thread, you will shortly be excused from your membership here.

You seem to imply that one who doesn't speak in tongues is dead and/or doesn't have the HS? If so, that amounts to judging other's salvation by these works rather than by grace through faith and would point to an unbiblical Pentecostal leaning.

I am very upset about these threads being locked (here and on the other denominations board). Why can't we have a discussion with Joseph about his views and claims? I just don't get it. What are the moderators worried about? It just does not make sense. Twice I have taken the time/effort to write out a reply to Joseph only to hit the submit button and see that the thread is locked.

OK.. I'm usually just a 'reader' on here..
But this guy is getting a little ridiculous.
How in the world is he not banned yet? I think it's pretty clear he is not a Baptist, yet is obviously disobeying the rules and posting on this board anyway.

It's just irritating reading this.. sorry.

==While I believe Joseph's views to be error, I don't agree with your statement. There are Baptists who hold to very Pentecostal/Charismatic views. I don't know, but I imagine there are even oneness Baptists out there somewhere. The title "Baptist" is used by a great number of churches espousing many different doctrines. Just because someone is confused and in error does not mean they are not a Baptist.

I am walking away from this discussion. It is a very rare thing that I actually get frustrated by a discussion board, but it has happened here. I have stated my views and that is the end of that. Joseph is in error, both in his doctrine and his continuing to post where he has been asked not to. That said, I think the mods have acted too quickly by closing his thread on the Other Denomination board. But that is their right.

Whatever the case may be .. his posts are VERY difficult to understand, and he's made over 5-6 topics in what.. the last hour or two?

I think it's pretty clear he isn't here for a nice discussion.. it's clear to me he's just trying to stir things up.

Didn't he mention having the gift of speaking in tongues in one post? I mean, c'mon, seriously.. :BangHead:

I have said nothing about the gifts being required for salvation, nor the Holy Spirit as in the Holy Spirit of Father God, being required for salvation.
The Spirit of Promise is required for salvation. That is "The spirit of Jesus Christ" who was promised to the people of God. Fortold by the prophets as the coming one and also declared in the flesh as God amoung the living. The only begotton son of God. Who for the purpose of bring salvation into the world suffered the cross of shame that he might put a end to the works of satan and redeem mankind to the Father.
You do not have to receive the Fathers Holy Spirit or the gifts of the Holy Spirit. but i sure would stop denounceing him and his function. There is one sin that will not be forgiven.

==I think your 100% right. However I also think we should be given the time to refute his error. Maybe not on this Baptist-only board, but the other board should have been okay. Anyway, as I said, I am walking away from this thread.

Just so you know your not alone, many of these actions frustrate me too. This type aggressiveness is the reason I don't bother posting in the Other Denominations Forum.

    Joseph,

Why are you still posting here when you have been asked not to? Certainly seems like rebellion to me. Is there another way to describe breaking the rules?

O, this time I am walking away from this thread. For the third time .

So you label all Southern Baptists the same way? Interesting because I think you said that you are Southern Baptist - which would mean you are speaking of yourself and your own church.

Prove what? You are babbling and making no sense in your posts. Honestly I'd never sit under you as a teacher because I'd have NO clue what you were saying if you communicate at all like you write.

And we're to listen to you.....why? If we showed you Scripture, would you accept it?

We have a right to be heard anywhere - not just in church. But we must earn that right too.

This is against the rules - questioning the salvation of others. It is not your place to do so.

Oh - you must have read the rules then.

But you are speaking of the Spirit of Jesus and the Spirit of God as two different spirits - so what is it?

He does - because you broke the rules.

So you're posting in anticipation of conflict? You come to a Baptist Board, with what are supposed to be your brothers and sisters in Christ and you EXPECT conflict? Interesting.

Anyone would know you're speaking like a crazed man, quite honestly. Your posts make no sense at all theologically and you are introducing false teaching that is not Biblical theology.

Honey, you weren't saying anything. You were babbling and not making any sense. Trust me - you post something worthwhile and people will discuss here but when we can't even understand you other than you talking about multiple spirits and having to ask for the spirit or else you lose your salvation, that is heresy.

    Why am I not surprised?

So you are saying that all Baptists are unsaved?

If you spoke logically, then we'd be good. Maturity has nothing to do with it. I even had to ask you about your age and native language because trying to read your posts is as difficult for me as it is to try to read a post from a deaf person - or a 13 year old who is poorly educated.

NO where in Scripture are we taught of multiple Spirits. Teaching such is from a false prophet. You don't need to tell about the future to be a prophet but "declare truth".

That is why I asked you right from the beginning your age and nationality because you posted just like a 14 year old. But if a 14 year old came here, they would not be coming trying to teach us false beliefs but would be coming to learn. They of course would be dealt with very differently.

So you teach the wrong teaching that a believer can turn on Christ. Additionally you once again question our salvation which is against the rules and not your place to do.

Once again, breaking the rules. Your teaching is contrary to the Word of God - I will stick with God.

The thing I don't get about this is .. what's the point of all of this?

It's not like this guy is just joining up on some of the current conversations.. you know, voicing his opinion on a current topic..

It's almost like he's trying to "convince" us of something.. trying to lead us in another direction..

    It's really bothersome.
