This has been shown to be false many times. Allen used to post numerous quotes from pre 19th century theologians that held to it.

Replacement theology is what's truly self righteous.

It is not replacement theology but fulfillment theology. In the same way the butterfly is transformed from a caterpillar so the old man (of the old covenant) is changed to the new man in Christ. Anyone among the Jews who believe in Christ are part of the new man, the body of Christ. This is not replacement for the Jew but maturation, growing up and away from the tutor of the Law (Gal.).

Pre-trib argues for a return of the butterfly to a caterpillar stage. But the sole purpose of that stage - the Levitical Priesthood, Law and the Prophets - was preparation for Christ's ministry of bringing in true righteousness - apart from the Law.

It is pretrib that is truly self-righteous. It argues that Christ's righteousness imputed to believing Jews and Gentiles now is still not sufficient.
