    BR:
"You WANT to argue that the "ATONEMENT" is definined as the "PRICE PAID at CALVARY" that OMITS all that God said about the High Priest's role in the PROCESS of atonement in Lev 16."

    GE:
You present me falsely. I said nothing of a "PROCESS of atonement" - that's YOUR 'eisegesis' - not mine!
Then again you hide behind the door your skeleton of 'the High Priest's role in the PROCESS of atonement IN HEAVEN'.
So first get your accusation straight and honest, and we go further from there.

I argue that the atonement is defined as the price paid at Calvary and presented before the Lord in resurrection from the grave of Joseph, that supplied and satisfied all divine virtue and authority demanded whereby Jesus Christ would henceforth in heaven mediate on behalf of the reconciled and atoned Elect on earth.

I got it from this, post 75. I beg your forgiveness; I read over Shilo's name, and took it Claudia's remarks. Very, very, sorry!

I have to say this is absolutely strange that this person doesnt seem to get that we arent saying nor have we ever said the devil "pays" for any of the believer's sins. Its weird.

and it doesnt seem to matter just how many times you say it or how many ways you state it, either.

    oh well.

The only thing inexcusably neglegent about you is you thinking they are telling the truth! Ask them about their devil/goat and what he is supposed to do. Gerherd are you waiting for the devil to be cast out...somewhere with all mankind sins so our eternal Salvation is secure?

My apologies no the less, I stand by this :

    CT:
    "Azazel is Satan. Not Jesus."

    GE:
    Moses:
"And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD's lot fell, and (sacrifice) him for a sin offering. But the goat on which the lot fell to be the goat that escapes, shall be PRESENTED (OFFERED) ALIVE BEFORE THE LORD TO MAKE AN ATONEMENT WITH HIM, and to let him go (FREE) for an escape-goat into the wilderness."

Now, if satan is the scapegoat, satan "shall be PRESENTED (OFFERED) ALIVE BEFORE THE LORD TO MAKE AN ATONEMENT WITH HIM, and (be) let him go (FREE)".
Then satan is Jesus ... too blasphemous to comtemplate! Away with you and your devilish doctrines![/quote]

well I give up, it is just no use, you people just hear what you want to hear. so go on and pretend like you think we say Satan makes atonement. its ridiculous. but oh well.

No Claudia, it's not us - it's you, and it it works out like this:
One. You say the "live goat" is Satan - right? Right!
Two. You say Jesus only atones for sin - right? Right!
Three. Lv16:10 says the "live goat" is "presented before the LORD to make an atonement with him" - right? Right!

Therefrom, pure arithmatic: if a=2 and b=2, then a=b - right? Right!

    I won't spoon-feed you further.

O Claudia, I'm sorry; but I dearly love you in Jesus Christ, you know. I'm so thankful to God He gave so much love from my people in this life, both in the faith and just in ordinary life. I'm so happy, I shall not think of hurting you through ill-manneredness. But I am bigway rough. I always think how God can tolerate me - He really must favour me for reasons I could never find in myself. God showers you under his tender mercies. Hold fast till He comes.

That's what "sorry" generally means, Shiloh. I'll post the Dictionary.com link if you need it.
