Reformed refers to Christians who hold to the DoG, and who also hold to all of calvinism, such as Covenent theology, A Mil eschatology etc

reformed would be those as me who do hold to the DoG as regarding Sotierology, but also are not holding to entire calvinism, as I am a Dispy, hold to pre mil etc!

John McArthur another one like me...

You really should put some effort into spelling and grammar. No one gets is perfect but you do not seem to even try.

The only difference I can tell is a Capital "R" and lower case "r". But who knows with all the spelling and grammar issues. Having said that I do not believe that you should stop posting and only fetch coffee.

That is about as clear as mud.

As far as more than one view in Calvinism , that is exactly the point I am making. And the history of Calvinism, reformed, Reformed, or whatever you want to call it is not that the predominant view holds to a limited atonement.

Again, those who are reformed would pretty much hold to limited atonement, while reform divide over that issue!

I know you believe you are making a clear distinction here, but I fail to see it. "reformed" and reform" what in the heck are you talking about.

Reformed are "fully calvinist" they hold to Covenant theology, to the Church now being spiritual isreal, to mainly A Mil in end time views etc

reformed hold to the Doctrines of grace, but do NOT hold to rest of the theology as reformed do!

All you do is keep repeating "reformed" . How is it that you believe using the same word twice makes a distinction?

I understand your confusion. I believe he means that there are two groups that are reformed in their soteriology. He distinguished the two by the capitalization.

    Group 1 - Reformed (capital R)
Calvinistic in soteriology. Reformed/Covenant theology. RC Sproul, D. James Kennedy, etc. Most likely Presbyterian/Reformed churches.

    Group 2 - reformed (non-capital r)
Calvinistic in soteriology. May be dispensational. John McArthur. Most likely some Baptist/non-denom churches.

Ok that distinction is new to me. When I asked him about he did not respond to my question and only repeated what he said earlier. Thanks for the help.

thanks for explaining it much better than i was able to!

just saying that even among 'calvinists", there are subgroups, as we do not all hold to everything the same, except for the DoG!
