What do you miss most about the US?
What surprised you most in the nation where you now live?
Where are you living and how long have you been there?

    1) Hmmm - Wal-Mart maybe, prices, less than $2.00 a gallon for petrol, Kraft macaroni and cheese, Cheez-its, those little jelly nougat candies [IMG]

2a) The acceptance of us as Americans living amongst the people.
2b) The fact that peoples who speak the same language and "look" the same can be so different.

    3) Naas, Co Kildare, Ireland since January 1995

I am back in America now, but I recently spent several months in China.
The ONLY thing I missed were my close friends.
    Things I DIDN'T miss:
    Americans
    American food
    Flat flat Kansas
    Driving

I felt very much at home in China. It was a little shock going from a town of under 100,000 to a city of 17,000,000. The food was execelent, the cities where interesting, and the girls were beautiful. What more could anyone ask for??
