R.A. Torrey & The Fundamentals

    Has anybody here read The Fundamentals by R.A. Torrey? What do you think?I am in the process of reading them now.

    I got through part of the first volume before moving on to something else. I intend to go back and finish them at some point.

    I think in light of what so many seem to think fundamentalism is these things are interesting:

    They were ecumenical. They disagreed on baptism, escatology, and other issues. They used multiple versions of the Bible.

    They seemed to be able to cooperate with others that had biblical reasons for arriving at a different conclusion than their own.

    This is my take so far.
