Race Horses and being a Christian ?

Discussion in 'Sports Forum' started by RightFromWrong, Aug 28, 2005.

  1. Is it wrong to be in the Horseracing business if you are a Christian ?

Say a trainer, jockey, breeder, or owner, even if you yourself are not a gambler ?

What are some of your thoughts on this ?

Business is business. People have been racing horses since time immemorial. Also, people have been racing each other ever since there were two men or two women same size and age.

There are millions who watch the world's top horse races without wagering a penny. It's entertainment, and there's nothing in Scripture against entertainment.

No, I really don't think they can be.
Nevertheless, Christians should win, place, or at least show.
