Rape victim punished under Islamic Law

    I've done lot of reading on this and here is what I keep finding....

    1. She is 19 and she was told by a former high school classmate (male) that he had her picture. She wanted it. He told her that it was in his car. She got into the car with him.

    2. Two other males got into the car and drove to a secluded place without her consent.

    3. She was gang-raped 14 times by 7 males.

    4. She initially received a sentence of 90 lashes for being in the car of a man who was not her relative. She received another 110 lashes at a later hearing because she took her case to the media.

    5. Her attorney was stripped of his license to practice law, taken off the case, and is awaiting further punishment.

    6. The men who raped her initially received up to 5 years in prison and were later given 2 to 9 years.

    The 7 men should have been given at least 20 years each, and she should be offered any help she needs. What a group of barbarians.

    Shows what a useless piece of crap the UN is. A country like that would be kicked out and boycotted if it had any purpose.

    Saudi Arabia needs new laws. They should apologies for this and the rapists should be given the death penalty.

    ....................urm so called Christian countries have behaved almost as badly to women in sexual assault in the past........the attitude was the woman was acting lewdly, dressed in such a way to provoke lust etc.......it is ghastly and inhuman and sickening........did the lass die or will she die accidentally in prison.....
