The main causes for division are people taking verses out of context and not reconciling them with other scripture. Since God doesn't contradict himself, then let's see how many of you can reconcile verses together. The following are verses that appear to contradict each other but do not:

    1) John 6:64-65 with 2 Peter 3:9

    2) Romans 9:18 with John 3:16

    3) Romans 9:11 with 2 Peter 3:9

    4) Ephesians 2:8-9 with Luke 13:3

    5) Job 36:5 with Psalm 45:7

for starters. Once people start reconciling the bible together instead of making it contradict itself, I guarantee you there will be less division among Christians. :)
