    Does anyone know where I can find a recording of "Almost", by P.P. Bilhorn?

    The lyrics start like this:

    Almost I trusted in Jesus
    Almost I turned from my sin
    Almost I yielded completely
    To the sweet striving within

    Now is the time to receive Him
    Now is the time to be saved
    Now, while the Spirit is pleading
    Now, Jesus waiteth to save.

    I really like the lyrics, but have searched the 'net to no avail.

    No luck, I guess. Personally, I've never heard it sung. It's included in my hymn book almost as an afterthought. It's so different from other songs I've heard. How many of us, myself included, have been right there on the brink, doubting? It would be a good song for those who are still lukewarm. I may just have to work it out on the piano, even though I'm still a beginner, and the key is kind of too low for me.
