DeJa Vu all over again? Remember Al Gore and Florida in 2000?

    Well, here we go again?

    http://billypenn.com/2016/11/23/a-p...llary-clinton-a-nightmare-scenario-explained/

Sounds like a hysteria tactic (or worse) to me.

Dems (Nov. 7th): Lol, there's no such thing as voter fraud.

Dems (Now): Aaargh, it must be voter fraud!

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump had to have won by 10 points in actuality to have come out ahead at all...

Hillary needs to be careful. If they lose this tactic (and surely they will) Trump might flip-flop and demand an indictment against her.

Also why is it "a group of secret computer scientists and data analysts" ? Are they afraid of being wrong and further humiliating Hillary and the DNC?

If they should succeed and get the recount they want, Trump should demand a recount of Cali.
I'll bet if a thorough investigation were made, there would be enough dead, illegal and multi-voters to dissolve H's "popular" vote.

I believe Hillary has more to lose than Trump by pursuing this strategy.

Trump is apparently gaining popularity momentum on both sides of the aisle.

Sourgrapes? And definitely grasping at straws! She can't accept defeat when it stares her in the face! Remind me to never consider voting for her in future elections! :Sleep

Right - it cannot benefit them (Green Party) and they will have squandered their funds on a fruitless endeavor for the next election.

OK, so here is a scenario following the Saul Alinsky strategy (not that its true but just the way he would propagandize the election recounts).

Hillary finds a Ukrainian (not Russian) software engineer who will criminally modify the election recounts for several million dollars.

She then offers Jill Stein several million more dollars to initiate the recount and deflect the blame off of herself.

After then “winning” the election because of the “recounts” Trump knowing what she has done will spend his billions to send her to prison for 20 years for previous alleged crimes and her alleged voter fraud.

See? I can do it as well as other bloggers from the other side :D

This is of course all fictitious and I deny any veracity to this tall tale (in the spirit of the liberal progressive Alinsky-ites) based upon no provable facts whatsoever :)

Michigan (9/23) has counted and certified Trump as the winner of its 16 electoral votes.

    http://usherald.com/breaking-michigan-recounted-reviewed-votes-trumps-still-winner/

A recount is possible if Hillary or Jill pays for it but it would be a useless waste of time and money.

But remember Al Gore who wanted to keep the recounts going until it turned out to be what he wanted.

And then the supreme court stepped in and ended it. Gore never did recover from his trauma.

Repeat of the O/P - Deja Vu all over again?

I'm merely thinking of it as the Dems going through the 3rd stage of grief, Hank. Stage 4 will probably start setting in after December 19th and finally stage 5 after they have to face the reality on January 20th.

Talking heads on Fox suspect a scam from Jill Stein. She has begged (scammed?) 5 million from the general public (probably almost all Dems) Playing on their hope against hope that maybe just maybe Hillary won after all. She will then maybe spend a million or so on the "recount" then pocket the rest never to be heard from again.

She is now telling contributors she can't guarantee the $$$ will actually go toward a recount.

    http://lawnewz.com/high-profile/jill-stein-now-cant-guarantee-money-will-go-to-unlikely-recount/

    WHERE THEN?

    Time for a fraud alert?

All the talk is just that. Talk. Clinton got 232 Electoral Votes. Trump got 306. That is a difference of 74 Electoral votes. Clinton would have to pick up 38 Electoral votes to win. Michigan is one of the states in which Stein is trying to force a recount. If Trump's win is overturned (not likely - he won by over 10,000 votes, much higher than the 537 vote win by George W. Bush in Florida in 2000) Clinton would only get an additional 16 Electoral votes bringing her total to 248, still 22 votes short of the magic 270. In order to win she would have to overturn Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania to get enough votes to win the Electoral vote. Not a chance of overturning all three.

As to Clinton winning the popular vote, her total is irrelevant. Even if her number of votes coming from late counts in California is 10 million, it makes no difference as she already has all of California's Electoral votes. There are no more to be had.

As to the Electoral College itself, the idea of the Electoral voters abandoning the candidate and "voting their conscience" is nonsense. Electoral voters are elected by their party. If the state goes Democrat the Democrat Electoral voters cast their ballots on December 19. If the state goes Republican the Republican Electoral voters cast their ballots. These people are party functionaries and their entire job is to put their guy in office. They will vote for their guy.

Trump is in. The rest is just media hype.
