I didn't know if this should go in sports, or in politics. [IMG]

The outcome of Washington Redskins football games has correctly predicted the winner of every U.S. presidential election since 1936. The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Washington Redskins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.

This election year, that deciding game takes place on Sunday, October 31st

    Redskins vs. Green Bay

Note: I have been a Redskins fan before I was old enough to even think about voting. My endorsement of the Washington Redskins is in no way an endorsment of George W. Bush. ;)

It doesn't look good for the Redskins. :(

Nickelodeon's Web site has correctly chosen the president of the United States in the past four elections. Nearly 400,000 children and teens voted, and the results were released Wednesday. Kerry received 57 percent of the vote; President Bush got 43 percent.

Kerry hasn't chance. Redskins, Nickelodeon, or not.

Green Bay is one of my favorite teams though. Since it matters little to me which of the two national socialist candidates win, I guess I can still chear my team on to victory and it won't make much difference. ;)

The Nick effect is interesting 57/43 - I guess a 100% vote total means none voted third party or third parties were not offered as choices?
