    Hi Eric....

A man named Steve Currington actually started it. He is from North Love Baptist in Rockford, IL. The show "unshackled" did his testimony once, if you'd like to hear the whole thing.

The program has books sort of like AWANA for adults. Thats putting it very simplistically, and probably not doing it justice. But the program is run on the basis that a relationship with Jesus Christ is what sets us free from the strongholds we struggle with.

It applies then to all sorts of issues....not just the physical, drug addictions, but also inward, heart issues.

It begins by introducing the student to Jesus Christ, hopefully if he is not saved he will then be convinced of Christ and we can go on from there. Many people have been helped and are being helped.

We have this at our church and unsaved Judges send people to our church to go through this program instead of sentencing them to jail.

We have had many people make a genuine profession of faith, join our church, and become active members.

This program has a very high success rate. [IMG]

As bapmom said, it also helps with spiritual problems - fear, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, etc.
